All Dressed Up

Today’s outfit showcases an incredible French designer whose collection I saw firsthand at the Fashion Industrys Insiders. The event was a celebration/coming together of some remarkable individuals within the fashion industry to shed some light on the topic fashion as art form and to provide an insight on the future of fashion.

My friend and budding male fashion blogger Edmond Kamara of Cuts For Him, who put together this year’s event, contacted me and asked if I would like to be a part of an exciting collaboration to showcase Rita’s latest collection on my Instagram page. It was a very easy yes, the pieces I saw on the runway had a running theme of femininity, edge and great craftsmanship.

Rita de Dyvrande pieces would best be defined as avant garde and architectural. With buildings and physical structures being an inspiration from the designers love for original shapes. Her pieces also represent a continuous provocation between practicality and sophistication. Enabling the modern woman in mind, to be comfortable in an outfit and simultaneously feel beautiful and chic.

The low back cut on this dress has to be my favourite feature, sexy but classy and there’s a different version which is even more extravagant with a high low train. All dressed up now to find somewhere to go!

Fashion for me must always contain a mix of individualism, character and an element of fun... My blog is the platform at which I can engage in two of my favorite things I.e. writing and fashion
