How to style pleated tulle skirt

“Hi I am Barbara, I am style chameleon and a Zara addict”. What this means is I love to wear different looks. Be it a nod to street style look, ultra feminine styles or something in between grunge and rock chic and 70% of my wardrobe is from Zara.
I saw this skirt in the Zara sale and knew immediately the styling possibilities would be endless. It was a piece I could envisage myself wearing thoroughly in the spring and transition into my summer wardrobe. The salmon colour looked extremely flattering against my skin tone and I would be able to play with different colours and textures when styling this skirt.
Top tip: If you want to save money and valuable wardrobe space, buy pieces that you know you can get more than one or two wears out of, think of how you can use existing items in your wardrobe to style whatever you are buying. This doesn’t only save your money but means your cost per wear would be able to justify the money you might have forked out for it.

For this look I kept it very simple and paired with a Zara black t-shirt, my favorite pointed toe stilettos that I can’t stop wearing and accessorised with my silver stacked statement necklace from H&M. Please note should we be brunching in the summer, do expect me to turn up wearing this outfit.

Look 2
This look says I am ready for spring. Paired this with nude pieces to create a very polished look. This was my favorite look because it is super feminine, very relaxed, looks like minimum effort and thought went into getting dressed but the results were fabulous. I foresee myself somewhere in the south of France, having a champagne fuelled lunch overlooking a vineyard wearing this outfit without a care in the world.

Look 3
This look is my way of expressing my playfulness, I always fancied myself to be a ballerina when I was younger, when I saw this ballerina lace up flats in Zara it reminded of little Barbara who fancied owning a pair of ballet pumps, I simply HAD TO HAVE IT. Styled with lace bustier cropped top from H&M, Burberry cropped military style cape and my Quay Australia sunglasses. This would be a look that I would wear again to brunch or lunch down my local favorite restaurant. Do you see a pattern in where I wear all my outfits to? haha I can’t help that I love food so much.

Babe!!! Loveeeee all 3 looks!!!!! They are all so different! I think I need a pleated skirt after all! Been putting it off for a while but now….. need! And yes to all things Zara!!!!!
You would look incredibly in a pleated tulle skirt, I can totally see you nailing this trend and laying all over my timeline. Do it do it do it 🙂 xx
I thought I responded to this already omg. Zara needs to send me a cheque already hahaha or a discount code
Ok… I couldn’t choose between the three because I see myself wearing all of the above. Love how you styled the tulle skirt. So true to envisage an item of how you can style it with other items in your closet before getting it but sometimes my mind doesn’t work like that when I really want something (praying about this 😂). You look amazing babe or should I say zara addict❤.

hahaha, I know right, some days it’s just a complete sod it I don’t care if nothing in my wardrobe will work with this, I just need to have it so I can slay hard. Hahaha, proceeds to praying the fashion gods are on your side to make sure you pull it off. Thank you for your compliment. xxx
Hahaha mega Zara addict. I am just hoping on a feature hahaha, imagine modelling for Zara. sadly my boobs are not flat enough hahaha. Seriously though nothing gives me greater satisfaction than getting multiple wear out of one item. Thank you for stopping by 🙂
