How to style a tweed dress

I have been spending the last few weeks planning for the year ahead. Making sure that I have laid a good foundation to see that 2017 is not only successful but also a triumphant year. If you follow me on Instagram outofbarbarasbox, you’ll see that I have started the year with a lot of gusto and I have finally found my style “niche”.

I have discovered I love simplicity in style, things have to fit right and feel right. I really hate having to fuss over the hem of my skirt, because the length is too short, or pull up my top because I feel it exposes too much cleavage. Style for me is comfort, structure, quality and above all I need to feel like myself.

I had a lot of fun wearing this outfit because it encompasses everything I love, it is classy, comfortable, minimal effort with maximum slay result and has plenty of wearability and best of all I felt really good.

Paired with a pair of stockings and suspenders in the first set of photos, means only I know the amount of sex appeal going on underneath this outfit. Ladies, can I ask do you ever do this? I love to wear the sexiest underwear underneath what might be considered a very conservative outfit and proceed to walk around with a knowing smirk on my face.

Fashion for me must always contain a mix of individualism, character and an element of fun... My blog is the platform at which I can engage in two of my favorite things I.e. writing and fashion
